I took @nutellacrepe.eth’s recommendation and went to Izakaya Ginji for dinner tonight.

It was amazing!  Worth a visit if you’re ever in San Mateo.

Mentaiko Carbonara Udon was one of the best bites of the night but it was all spectacular.

Udon for sure.  I think I liked the one with the green onions but the skin was really good, so was the neck, and pretty much all of them.

i can't take this... talking about it is torture bahahaha! i know what you mean 🤣😭😭 i gotta go there soon or i'll die

you're very welcome, happy to share it with you, nutella always has a good time when she's at ginji ahhaha there was a lady who used to work there a couple of years ago and always vibed with us whenever we dined, one time she brought out fresh tuna head for us, we had fresh sushi bahaha, opened a couple bottles of sake and drank with us

where is zareens? sf or in san mateo? i love me some good indian food, dad used to work in india, introduced us to indian food!!

Seriously though thanks so much for the recommendation, I gotta listen to you more.  

My friends is a Yelp elite and she loved it.  We took her to Zareens for Indian food which is top notch and cheap and she also loved that.  Great week of food.
