launching a token is so easy these days, it's not uncommon to see thousands of replicas within minutes of launch. the same will happen to software. you'll spend months ideating, iterating, perfecting your app. and within minutes of shipping, there will be a thousand clones.

you can deploy a thousand clones in seconds but you will never deploy one that can be as big in volume and size

Marketplace network effects, source legitimacy, and investor volume will decide the real $SEA if it ever launches. How to translate to software? Most of it boils down to trust.

Probably depends on the context. Manage your entire net worth? Few. Run a quick calculation? Most. Small apps with minimal footprint are probably indefensible. Larger but static apps will get cloned. People will buy into a creator for apps with real consequences that require stewardship, upgrades or guarantees.
