Dropped and smashed my phone. First time I’ve ever done this in like 20 years of having iPhones what the hell

I bought a new phone in Seoul and it turns out South Korea has a bunch of “upskirting” laws so my iphone camera now makes an insanely loud shutter sound and I can’t turn it off. 

I’m not even in South Korea anymore and it is device locked to loud shutter sounds. So bad. Why do bad things happen to good people

Do you know why the feature was built? Because of the rising amount of creeps taking inappropriate photos of women. It’s a safety measure. I can imagine it’s annoying for non offenders. But just some context.

I understand. Now you know you will never buy a phone from there again lol in emergency cases a cheap android could hold you down till you return home maybe.
