Hi Network State peeps! Do you happen to know if Network States also propose concrete governance mechanisms? I'm operating under the belief that they more describe values and vehicles for Network States, not a thesis on how governance should work. https://warpcast.com/nor/0x129dd812

Evolutionary dynamics of markets applied to states. The best mechanisms will emerge Apply the same mechanisms as crypto protocols > don’t like it, fork it Open source, harder to rent seek IP > compete for users Shared complementary infrastructure > bootstrap your network state as a service May the best state win

your cast is so important, at times the conf felt like some slick B2B SaaS event on real estate / land projects than being related to the actual logistics of creating sovereign entities

I think it's a natural process, and we'll be seeing those who can design such governance mechanisms will concentrate their efforts towards that end. It is highly probable that there are network-city like connectors who just happen not to term themselves as such whilst proposing infra upon which such can be built.

i think, network state is framework that is agnostic of any governance structure as long as there is some governance structure (anarchy not allowed)

I watched the first talks and honestly got bored. I felt like I was being mansplained: cities, friends, fun. I would also love to know more about any mechanisms proposed of any sort, talks I should dig into etc

There are not many nation states being created, and therefore, there’s little experiments being run in terms of governance, laws, etc. Nation States could reduce the barrier to create states unleashing more experimentation. That’s all that is needed for innovation, natural selection will take care of the rest.
