Like, clearly this is a two sided thing and one side is the good norms of dao participation

if one is not willing to enter the public arena, they should make a private dao. social influence, variance in delegation protocol, and economic pressure are all ways to achieve this.

Could it be that IF I tear down a productive employee I get docked retroactively somehow. ELSE I tear down a non-productive & I'm rewarded.

that really captures the general tradeoff between public capital and closed systems. tbf in joseph.eth's case (if this is about sushiswap), I think there was breakdown of communication & expectation. there shouldn't really be a public DAO if the scrutiny is anathema to its operation, and PE is an option.

DAOs need to treat their collective attention and the quality/signal of their “internal” communications as just as much of a scarce shared resources as their financial assets
