Chatting with the Chinese AI about Chinese philosophy - it blows ChatGPT away on the subject.

I don't particularly like to probe the limits of a bot I'd rather maintain a decent relationship with lmfao There's topics you can't get ChatGPT to talk about, either, so no surprise a Chinese bot is sensitive about topics that the Western propaganda machine did a number on.

Go to the ChatGPT reddit and you'll see all sorts of topics that it tries to avoid and that require prompting tricks to get it to talk about. I've read all about Chinese history, ancient and modern, from multiple sources including in Chinese. They have tight control of their information sphere in an effort to prevent the U.S. propaganda machine from doing what it's done to the rest of the world. Not saying the tight control is just or right, but considering what the U.S. tends to do to countries it propagandizes, I can understand the impulse to lockdown.
