A friend of mine bought a whole bunch of a random altcoin after misreading the price. They thought they were spending $50 but ended up spending $500 due to a misplaced decimal point. When they realized the mistake, the coin had already tanked, leaving them with hundreds of dollars worth of worthless tokens. They spent days trying to “hold strong” while everyone else was laughing at their bad luck.
