My dad has vascular dementia. He doesn’t remember much anymore. But he does remember something - how much he loves my mom.

Thanks dude. It’s come on super suddenly. He lost his job in March and we realized something more serious than memory loss with age was at hand. 

Neurologist gave him 9 months on Wednesday.

holy shit. so many hugs your way. I'm glad you have time to say goodbye but not glad that it has to be under the circumstances and experience it is. I hope you're doing okay, that sounds so, so hard
