web3 interoperability across different social apps. one acct/reputation across all of them - good promise. but, combining different social apps is experientially challenging - what does a feed/inbox that combines all of your everything across pinterest twitter instagram tiktok even feel like?

a beautiful vibe. autonomy of content consumption regardless of platform is a massive win

disagree. if social is the main piece, people don’t open an app with the mindset of “damn i can’t wait to consume content.” content consumption is a dry understatement of what social experience is. they open it to click with other human beings one way or another.

exactly. It’s about the human connections not the platform it was posted on. Giving you the freedom to engage with your friends’ post/NFT/etc regardless of where it originated is a big win for human connection

used to think that but in practice the engagement metrics/intensity told me otherwise from Perl’s original form as a social bookmarking app so moved on to more original thoughts. noble pursuit though. i hope someone does nail it because it indeed is a problem to solve.
