Tourism industry going to get decimated in the states.

If they want to go for tourism, they prefer Canada and South America, if their goal is economy and work, they prefer China. Unfortunately, Trump made Europe move more towards the East and China.

Sure some are likely boycotting but I wonder how many people were travelling on tourist visas previously but there for other reasons than sightseeing? Could economic reasons also be contributing and where are these tourists now going?

Well, when US treat long-time allies like enemies, you can’t expect them to line up for visas. These drops are a direct consequence of  political trump choices.

I read that Australians and South American countries like Columbia have big travel decreases to the US as well.

-30% is not so bad Niki, given we have other problems than travel in Europe alone :)
