Loved this take on minimalist design's influence over culture. I personally love minimalism as a way of prioritizing order & clarity in my designs, so recognizing the need for aesthetic plurality is important; Adopting one standard automatically excludes many others...Thinking back to the idea that standards define a floor rather than a ceiling for their functions.
