You just moved into your new apartment kitted out with plastic slat curtains, laminate flooring in a kitchen with an electric stove, and beige carpet that turns brown slowly over time even if you take your shoes off at the door. 

Your car is missing the front bumper but that's ok, you'll get an unpainted one off eBay that will sit in your living room for the next 5 months. It's not like you have any furniture anyway. Well, except that pleather sofa from Big Lots, of course.
