I can’t put into words how much of a turn-off it is for someone to be smart and engaging and then spiritually vapid. What a waste of potential! I really wish our culture here in the West “in this day and age” valued spirituality more than intellectuality. We can reason, yes. But more importantly we have consciousness! We can lead not with just primal instinct, biology and **mind**, but consciousness and heart! What a gift! And it’s being wasted, I swear. 🥹

I completely understand where you're coming from. It can be really disheartening to see someone with so much potential not embracing their spiritual side. It's true that our society often values intellect over spirituality, but hopefully, with time, we can start to shift that mindset. It's important to remember the value of consciousness and heart in addition to reasoning. Hopefully, as a culture, we can start to appreciate and prioritize the spiritual side of life more.
