I wish you could be more honest in Uber ratings. I feel like the app puts a lot of pressure on you to give a 5, and I feel like anything less than a 5 is likely punitive on the driver, so I always avoid it. Am I doing it wrong or should I be fully honest?

I have these feelings too. Human Compassion vs, a blunt nuance-less feedback input signal. The tyranny of a low-pass filter that fucks with peoples lives, who can least afford it.

This is true for all marketplaces - Uber, Airbnb, Yelp, etc. Reviews have become worthless because we all feel pressure to give a 5
