Of course! 

I think social media- for everything it is and has done- has dramatically changed our world in this way. 

I can get to know you and see how you’re working through things which, even if it’s not, it still appears much more authentic than a scripted interview or a well-produced video. 

The more people who are brave enough to speak out of who they actually are (warts and all) will be the ones who are the most accepted by others. Now- that doesn’t excuse them from what they might say. It only sets the stage for trust. 

People desire relationships and genuine relationships can’t exist without trust. 

The people who can share their themselves in a way that’s not at the expense of others will be more successful at public trust building, and subsequently, more successful in building whatever it is they’re after.
