Anyone have any methods for learning to read/write new languages? Chinese is really kicking my ass rn.

Figure out what you consume everyday and find Chinese versions (news, YouTube, etc.). When you see a vocab word you don't know, cross-reference with HSK vocab lists. If it's on an HSK list, create an Anki flashcard (word, pinyin, sound file, example). Repeat ad infinitum.
