My 3 year prediction is that 7702 will end up being largely a forgotten idea because incumbent wallets never support generalized delegations. 

They cannot afford to give up the fight for user relationship ownership so easily.

The fox and ghost wallet both block websites that are not even in the least bit suspicious.

Meanwhile they're going to allow arbitrary delegation definition that can result in complete portfolio loss in one signature.

Don't think so, unfortunately.

The right way to use 7702 is to delegate to exactly one contract that is well reviewed by the wallet team and the ethereum community, and have that contract implement the remaining logic in a safe way.
