The reason I love to marry my visual art with textual elements is that they create a symbiotic dance, adding depth and guiding the viewer along a path they embark on with each piece The text doesn’t need to be long—even a single word can change the direction of our internal journey. There are moments when words beautifully complement the art, and other times, art should be allowed to speak for itself This marriage of visual and textual art is captivating. Words contextualize thoughts through art, while art gives context to words. Beautiful, right? But this is just my way and belief. Why would Israel sign a ceasefire with Lebanon when it has reduced Hezbollah from a mighty army to a disjointed rabble? Why not "finish the job"? The reason is simple: Israel’s primary goal—neutralizing Hezbollah as a strategic threat and thereby leaving Iran exposed—has been achieved to its satisfaction. The extra benefit is not worth the marginal cost—to Israel, but not to Lebanon. Most Israelis oppose the decision and would prefer that Israel finish the job. The Lebanese—many of whom, including a significant number of Shia, now want Hezbollah gone—seem even more disappointed. Hezbollah posed four major threats to Israel. My custom Swatch ⏱️ I owned a Swatch when I was about 12 years old, around the time I was first learning how to skateboard on a Tony Hawk mini deck, wearing my Converse high tops and tapered jeans with safety pins. One evening last year I was drinking some beer, watching Powell & Peralta Bones Brigade videos and feeling really nostalgic. So, I decided to buy this watch as a reminder of the feeling of being a kid in the 80s and 90s. Everything felt fresh, new, and a little revolutionary. It serves as a quick reference to that time for me, but has also become a great conversation piece.
