I'm an OG at criticizing Alexandre de Moraes, the brazlian Supreme Court Judge who had twitter blocked. I even made a video back in 2018 calling him "the reverse Midas - everything he touches turns to shit". But he's right on this one. And it's really not a matter of freedom os speech or censorship. It's a matter of having foreign companies respect brazilian law if they want to do business in Brazil. It's a matter of sovereignity and dignity. From a legal standpoint, Brazil has a free press, liberty to demonstrate, freedom of religion, gender and orientation choice... You name it. What restricts communications in Brazil is not the legal system. It's the few billionaires who own all the media. Including Musks and Zuckerbergs, with their very biased algorithms, manipulating elections all over their world to their interests. So I know isn't a very popular opinion at the moment, but I'm really proud of my country for standing this ground.

This needs to become the norm in my country as well. I feel like weβre actively going backwards while the rest of the world sees the cause of our problems.
