I don’t have much to say right this second, my brain is a little fried from back to school night and going back to teaching to full time and having a daughter who hates going to school. Have things fallen through the cracks in the mean time? Yea, they have. No, ur not rugged. No, I’m not done. No, I’m not giving up. Do I need a lot of help doing small things since I’m not here full-time? Fuck yea, I do. I’ve still got lots of things in the works from our content to UNDRGRND Sounds as well as our ongoing partnership with Highlight. I just have a life outside of here too.

My most listened to band of the last 10 years. Saw them at a very small venue with 25-30 people. A year later I saw them again at a larger venue with 250 people. After the show, I bought the lead singer a beer. 20 years ago I saw Coheed an Cambria play a side stage at Warped Tour with 50 people. Next Tuesday I’m going to see them play in front of 30k people. Saves the Day is the band I’ve seen live the most. They’re from New Jersey so considered local enough. Chris (the lead singer and only original member left) was notorious for jumping into the crowd and fighting hardcore guys making fun of them. Last time I saw them, he did it again, in his late thirties, because he saw someone holding a sign that said “you’re a cover band”. The lead singer went to a neighboring high school. I was at the first show they played to a larger crowd (1000+) at a Philly venue where he explained this song and phone playing the Trocadero was a dream come true. Went to a Blink-182 concert in ‘00 watched a band on the side stage I had started listening to and discovered on Napster. Mosh pit at Thursday show my girlfriend at the time punched a dude in the back of the head because he was annoying. He got in my face yelling to which I cowered and she said it was her. He walked away. She went to the show again the next night, she had hit the venue manager who greets her at the ticket window.
