Being a global 🌍 ticketing protocol makes sense ! Here’s why:

The industry is individually trying to fight inefficiency (scalping), fraud secondary market challenges and event financing risks.

#Tickets are #DigitalCollectibles. They are more than just ‘one’ entrance. It is infinite/CRM/lifecycle/loyalty. Join #TicketingRevolution✊🎟

We’ve seen many projects trying to solve the industry problems by launching their own solution, which tells us people want to solve the wrongdoing. We all know the Swiftie stories❗️

However, building and maintaining such a system takes resources 💰

Not only from the start, but also during operations.

Having an independent protocol rules by a DAO structure in a sort of meta approach, hovering above the market for all stakeholders is the solution offered by @openticketing.eth

As a supporting community we happily bring this solution to your attention to prevent that valuable resources from many of the stakeholders (event organizers, venues, artists) are building the same thing but lack interoperability.

The infrastructure to support that is arguably not your core business…

That approach to me is like TCP/IP is for the Internet (or SMTP for email), why reinvent the wheel when there’s something good available. It’s seems more efficient and effective at the same time.

You don’t need to maintain and develop your own system. There is probably no commercially active organization that builds and maintains their own e-mail system/protocol…. 

Why would they?

Offering all stakeholders the SAME system by means of ONE decentralized protocol is simply clever and ambitious at the same time. Blockchain offers an efficient way out.
