Thursday's figure exceeded BlackRock's previous record of $188.7 million in net outflows set on Christmas Eve, though the fund has only seen 11 total negative days in its trading history. "Institutional investors often rebalance their portfolios to align with asset allocation targets," Kronos Research Head of Global BD Neal Wen said. "The large outflows from BlackRock's IBIT may reflect such activity, particularly in response to bitcoin's price movements or broader market conditions."

Example: 1) Purchase 8,820 sUSDe with 10,000 USDC 2) Unstake 8,820 USDe for 10,077 USDe (+0.077%) 3) Purchase 8,859.35 sUSDe with 10,077 USDe 4) Unstake the 8,859.35 sUSDe for 10,121 USDe 5) Repeat from Step 3 etc. This gives you a 33bps bonus overall if there is a repeg. But this also relies on there being significant institutional USDe peg arbitragers.

Securitize proposes BlackRock BUIDL fund as collateral for Frax USD According to RWA.XYZ, BlackRock's US dollar Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund has roughly $549 million in assets under management. Securitize, the brokerage firm for the tokenized BlackRock US dollar Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), has submitted a Frax improvement proposal to add BUIDL as backing collateral for the Frax USD stablecoin. According to the improvement proposal, using BUIDL as a collateral reserve asset provides yield opportunities, deeper liquidity and transfer options, and reduced counter-party risk due to the backing of the world's largest asset manager, BlackRock.
