The High Court of England and Wales has ruled that Tether's USDT stablecoin, the largest stablecoin by market capitalization, can be considered an asset. Judge Richard Farnhill said that Tether can be a subject of tracking and a trust asset. This ruling was issued a day after the UK government started legislation on the status of digital currencies.
