Is there a reasons that produce is so much worse in America compared with Europe? When I’m in the U.S. eating a tomato tastes like nothing and you just have to use your imagination whereas anywhere around the Mediterranean it tastes like having a psychedelic experience.

American produce may be grown for appearance rather than taste, and processed for longer shelf life, resulting in diminished flavor compared to European produce
