@dwr.eth product q: why do I have to follow a channel in order to cast in it

hmm I think it's a little different. For example I might want to follow only posts that I make (to see replies & interactions) but not see all the other posts that might not be totally relevant to me.

Why would you want to cast into a channel but not follow it?

That’s like showing up to a party, yelling something and then leaving. :)

you don’t have to? i casted a question in Backend channel but didn’t and still don’t follow it
