What is the point of having any level of decentralization when clients don't allow you to select which hub you are talking too? Also do clients generally talk directly to a hub?

As I understand, FC’s differentiator is issuing identities in a decentralized manner. Any data a hub passes to a client is passed with a signature to validate authorship. You could theoretically choose a different hub, but they all data share everything, so the UX would be identical.

As I understand, a hub could tamper with things is by withholding casts. The client wouldn’t know unless it auto-checks multiple hubs to see what’s up. I’m unsure if this is recommended practice or if WC does this
