Controversial opinion but when frames time out or fail to load follow up images but the backend state transitions it makes for a HORRIBLE experience. Should there be some kind of feedback or something for the developers who post the frames? I feel like it really kills the whole promise 50% of frames actually work

Yeah agreed. It just times out. Should let the dev show an error message or farcaster should show a different error state.

The problem is that there isn't an effective feedback cycle. The frame @ https://degen-stats.vercel.app/ works like 25% of the time. Should the frame still even render in the feed? IDK it feels like there should be some kind of reward for people who actually can handle the traffic and have functional frames.

Yeah. Well I can see at times of peak traffic it could be hard. Especially when it’s a mint or something and everyone is spam clicking your frame.

IDK man, with AWS and GCP it should be very possible to handle almost any scale. Cloudflare provides most of what you need to handle massive scale for like $5 a month. It wasn't HUGELY popular but https://warpcast.com/royalaid.eth/0x047112b2 did start getting spammed and it handled traffic just fine.

Yeah you’re probably right. But you are then limited what kind of work you can do on your server.

Wdym? If you use AWS Lambda you have access to a ton of resources. The only counterpoint I could see is needing access to a GPU but I can't imagine that is a typical use case.
