Is there any future where @nouns based DAOs provide membership on merit and not for purchase?

There are a bunch of great DAOs that are using the auction system, but id go broke if I tried to join all of them!

@purple is a great example of something I want to contribute towards, but without spending money!

Seems like you can contribute in many ways already. You just can't vote I guess. You could still contribute to the discussion on Discord or help build something.
