This is my 2-minutes personal matcha whisking video from around 3 months ago. This is known as a cold-whisk matcha latte, and it has a more satisfying taste of (full-flavored) matcha and milk (than whisk matcha with hot water and pour into milk later). Pour milk directly on the matcha powder and whisk it (I used resin chasen). The key is to speed up your wrist until the matcha powder is suspended in the milk. 30 - 30 - 90 ml for 5 g matcha. (1:30) My performance was average for home-brewing in my opinion😅.

I’m not initiated in matcha. I find the color so beautiful. But when I tried I didn’t have a good experience. I’m willing to trey it again. Maybe I’ll buy a more fancy one. Should be better. Do you think it would work with oat milk? I cannot drink milk.

It works ! I tried that before but oat milk flavour & scent is more intense. So I alter your matcha a bit. kind of more bitterness and less aroma coming from matcha.

Interesting that it is more bitter. I’m used to bitter drinks because I drink tradicional mate with the mate tea. So I think I might like matcha if I can find a good one.

FYI >> Higher grade matcha, lower bitterness. I prefer ceremonial grade to do it.🫡

Thank you for the info. This ceremonial one looks much brighter than the others. I’ll try it out. 20 $degen
