O patient fisherman of silent shores,  
What are you waiting for?  
For a fish to rise from the depths of darkness?  
Or for a wave to break against the chest of rocks?  
Close your eyes,  
And listen to the voice of the sea.  
The sea always shares a secret  
With those who are patient.  
Waiting is neither defeat nor victory,  
But a reverence for time,  
For the tides that come and go,  
For the fish that may not come today,  
But tomorrow will bring hope back to the shore.
