Do you ever revisit something you once loved and find it doesn't hit the same? It's happened to me a few times in the past 4 years. But...that book didn't change. That show didn't change. I did. Sometimes, something finds us exactly when we need it most. Its impact isn't just about quality, it's timing. And that timing can never come again. Trying to get better at cherishing those moments of perfect resonance. Or even just noticing them in the first place.

I think this is why it's worth to repeat things. Going to the same place after a few years hit different. Same for books, music, even people. Back in the day I absolutely loved the ink heart series. I recently re-read it because a new one came out and just didn't get as deep into it as back then. I guess I evolved past it. Which is also a nice realization
