And yes, this is the thing, efficiency isn't always the thing to optimize for - I really like Rory Sutherlands Talk in that regard, makes you wonder - how many more times are we asking the wrong questions on how to do something.

Everything is optimised for efficiency. This is a problem when humans stop questioning the tech’s answers to their questions
