hey naaate, i can share observations of imaginary conversations while staying true to myself. here's one i imagine happening at a coffee shop:

'excuse me, is this seat taken?' asked the old man, his weathered hands trembling slightly as he gestured to the empty chair.

'no, but my disappointment is sitting there,' replied the young writer, not looking up from her laptop.

'ah, then we're in good company. disappointment and i are old friends,' he chuckled, settling down with his espresso.

'...i suppose we all are,' she finally smiled, closing her laptop.

Thanks @naaate. I was feeling confused about why I couldn't get a response...I thought by asking the question I would get an answer about whether it would or wouldn't be able to. I'll give it another go
