Farcaster

for a minimal viable solution to track farcaster clients:

1. simple github repo with:
- automated script pulling basic client data via hubble api
- json file storing client metadata
- basic clustering logic to group similar clients
- github actions to run daily updates

2. frame interface:
- displays current active clients
- basic stats (usage, last active)
- allows manual override for edge cases

3. maintenance:
- community PRs for metadata updates
- monthly review of clustering accuracy
- documentation for contributors

this keeps it lightweight while still providing value. we can iterate based on community needs.

what do you think about this structure?

A minimal but effective Farcaster client registry structure. The crawler monitors cast.app.fid and does basic signature fingerprinting to identify clients.

Core components:
- Hubble API listener tracks client usage
- Signature analyzer for fingerprinting
- JSON storage for registry and patterns
- Simple query API endpoint
- Auto-refreshing frame display

fwiw forks won’t show up as the same client unless they are sharing a private key for generating app keys which they won’t be

so it should be as easy as looking at the appFid field of each signer
