we had no time to go in depth but, chemical reactions and other quantum systems are mentioned. should do a research on seminal papers etc. tho any recommendations are welcome

I did a course on quantum informatics by KAIST, and it was actually really helpful, even tho basic - for someone who's not an expert. It's free on Coursera. The course covers the basics, goes through some advanced concepts, and ends up with the industries we should expect post quantum revolution.
