went camping with a bunch of dads this summer and decided i want kids 30 years of being staunchly opposed, and it more or less vanished after one weekend in the woods with a bunch of guys that were only there to escape the obligations they'd created for themselves and i... decided i want that been processing it for weeks now, but i haven't talked myself out of it yet anyone else have a change of heart about kids later in life?

I didn't want kids basically my entire 20s. My girlfriend (wife today) tried to convince me for years and I came up with reasons not to & then it finally just happened on accident. We were sleeping in a tent (van/travel life was the life at the time) when we got the call & found out she was pregnant. Neither of us were really ready but we made shit happen & fast. Our son is turning 2 in a couple months & neither of us could be happier. Having a kid is honestly awesome 👌 Life didn't really change much either. We still move & find new careers when we're bored. Planning on another in a couple years 💯 A lot of people think their careers define their lives, like its the most important aspect, but that's bullshit. Raising good humans is the most rewarding & impacting part of our lives ✔️
