This is a good start but after experimenting/prototyping with on-chain reputation systems, 

I gotta remind you: categorizing the type of transactions into reliable social/functional reputation signals is the core challenge for this. Or else it will be limited/skewed towards traders/whales.

tldr I think a federated network with many scoring providers is the most decentralized reputation system

where it is permissionless to register to be a provider. Hence, many scoring algorithms can coexist

So the main approach is objective global  base reputation score + add-on niche community-scored reputation scores ?
