Feeling utterly alone and depressed today. Couldn't even bring myself to break a sweat at the gym. Hopefully I can turn the day around somehow. I teach swimming lessons tonight, that always does it, but I'm bleeding savings (all in eth) and feel like the end is near. Giving brutal honesty instead of bullshitting you

Gratitude

I'm grateful for the love I received from my friends here yesterday. Things aren't better yet, but today my disposition is.

I'm grateful for this social network which is altogether much more positive of a community than X has been for at least 5 years.

Thank you my friend! Woke up on the right side of the bed today fortunately. Teaching those swim lessons did indeed turn my mood around last night. Today I start private lessons with an old Chinese woman who never properly learned to swim but comes to the pool almost everyday to wade. She requested me specifically because she saw how I am with my students. We've spoken before and I gave her a little freebie lesson. She and I are both very excited ❤️❤️❤️ teaching people these skills is probably the most rewarding thing in my day-to-day life now!

I was with you in the first half 😆 And you were right. I got in the swimming pool to teach lessons, my mood turned around. As it always does, even on the worst days.

I can relate, but can assure you that it’s never as debilitating as it seems to be. We must know that by the knowing of which everything is known — ourselves.

It’s unfortunate how much a few little things can send one down a dark spiral like this. If you can manage to make it to the gym it will help, I promise. Or even just to get out for a 5+ minute walk. Thank you Simon. You're right it's quite taxing. Getting in the pool and having a positive influence on people will help. I teach my adult lessons tonight, which might be my favorite, despite all the sweet kids I teach

It's mentally taxing for anyone paying attention at all right now. And then add in what's happening in crypto. I've been taking vitamin A&D, and B complex and that's helped a little (at least not making things worse.) I hope your lessons give you some relief tonight.
