I am not that social of a guy and don’t often use social media, but I love staying up-to-date with market trends. Phaver seemed like a perfect match for my interests, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. I don’t want to say that I hate Phaver—in fact, I love it—but the problem is that most engagement is tied to account levels virtually. Users tend to phave higher-level users more frequently. This lowers the interest of good content creators with lower levels and also kills the competition. The more competitive the platform is, the higher the content quality will be. Just to be clear, I am not referring to myself as a good content creator with lower level in fact, I am terrible at it. Secondly, the problem with the SocialFi space is content diversity. Almost 80% of the content revolves around crypto. To diversify the content on the platform, there should be a reward pool for each category of content. As of now no Binance listing News for $Social. I am pretty disappointed with Binance by there new user farming tactics. I am a binance user from when they started(2017) their journey in crypto industry. The reason for the context is that I wanna make it clear that I am not crying about $Social listing but I see a problem. Bybit, Cryptodotcom and many more exchanges had a great start but they all failed to maintain their growth. I think Binance strick listing terms and supporting project with actual usecase played a crucial role in their success. It's really concerning as binance alone holds 46% of total spot trading volume in Q2 2024. Their bad decisions can effect the market in entirety. Coming back to $Social I think there is no major player in SocialFi category with token to support for ecosystem development and Phaver can lead the trend in this category paving the way for Farcaster, Lens and so on.
