Interesting parallel between Rome and today The Romans traded gods for philosophy when their empire peaked Now we're trading religion for tech - our new way of making sense of the world But worth noting - Rome's shift to philosophy came right before decline Makes you wonder if these transitions signal deeper societal transformations Maybe we're not becoming less religious - just finding new ways to explore life's big questions through different frameworks
