Putting a question out to the community - my best friend's daughter is about to turn 8 and she is really starting to get into manga. Does anyone have some good age-appropriate recommendations that I could get for her birthday? I don't have kids and what I read is....not appropriate for an 8 year old :D

Lately I've been reading a lot of manhwa, so I took some time to refresh my knowledge of Korean honorifics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_honorifics I keep this page bookmarked so that I can reference as I read. There are just so many rules and it is different from my native language :)

Today I've been reading about the superchain: https://blog.thirdweb.com/superchain/ Definitely a cool approach to scaling. I can see a lot of benefit to breaking down silos and making horizontal scaling easy and consistent. I'm not super technically-minded so I don't understand everything about it, but I thought it's pretty cool!

Today I was reading this article about the Atlantic ocean cooling too quickly: https://archive.is/rYOBi At first I thought maybe it was a good thing, but later in the article they explain that the Atlantic cooling too fast could delay the Pacific cooling, which has impacts for global climate.
