⏺A small village in Sardinia, Ollolai, is offering homes for one euro ($1) to Americans disheartened by the outcome of the US presidential election. The village, facing significant depopulation, hopes to entice new residents, particularly Americans, with cheap housing and a simpler lifestyle. 

⏺The initiative, which includes free homes for digital nomads and ready-to-move-in properties, has already received 38,000 inquiries, most from the US. The mayor emphasizes the need for American residents to help revive the village’s dwindling population.
