In the grand palace of the Achaemenid Empire, Cyrus the Great sat majestically on his throne. The King of Rome entered, dressed in splendid attire, and humbly walked down the aisle, flanked by Persian soldiers. Reaching Cyrus, he knelt and bowed his head.

"O Great Cyrus," he said, "I acknowledge your power and wisdom and have come to show my respect."

Cyrus stood, approached, and lifted the Roman king to his feet. "Rise, my friend," he said warmly. "Here, you are not just a king, but also a friend and ally."
