It’s a reminder that the perfect, stress-free moment we’re all striving for simply doesn’t exist. Life is messy, and no amount of planning or organizing will ever change that. Now, I’m excited to dive into my next series, where I’ll be exploring "Four Thousand Weeks" by Oliver Burkeman. This book is a deep dive into time management, but with a twist—it’s not about cramming more into your schedule, but about finding meaning in the time you have. In "The Comfort Crisis" by Michael Easter, a study in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise found that running exerts forces 8 times greater than body weight per stride, while walking exerts about 2.7 times. For a 175-pound person, this means each running stride loads the knees with about 1,400 pounds, compared to 470 pounds when walking. Should we switch to walking only now???

Both grow the hippocampus, a section of the brain that is often shrunken in depressed people." 💪🏻 Posting this before heading to my 1-hour functional training session—full body workout ahead!

Reading 'The Comfort Crisis' by Michael Easter, I was struck by the notion that "at-home silence was more calming than listening to Mozart." This really resonated with me. Modern life overworks our brains with constant screen time. This mental strain can lead to depression and dissatisfaction, making life feel like it’s slipping away, as Michal Easter writes in “The Comfort Crisis”. My average screen time this week is 3 hours! And it’s 25% less than the previous week…….. I’m speechless. Definitely need to do something immediately about it, any advice?😨😨😨😱😱😱

Developing the ability to enjoy solitude can transform loneliness into a chance for meaningful self-discovery. Instead of feeling lonely, we can see alone time as an opportunity to get to know yourself better and build a deeper relationship with yourself. It might sound a bit cliché, but it's essential. We should all aim to turn feelings of loneliness into enriching experiences of solitude. “The Comfort Crisis” by Michael Easter is a must-read! Cannot stop rereading the notes I made while reading the book. So eye opening 👀👀👀
