Fun fake fact: In medieval times, individuals would lay claim to land through a process known as lancing. This involved taking a lance and drawing a line in the dirt around a lot of land before declaring it their domain. This act was known as "lance a lot".

It goes without saying that Eminem is the upper echelon of rap, especially intricate rhyme schemes. It's cool to see this visual breakdown of the lyrics and rhymes in Rap God. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7HUcxJyL9k

This is especially resonant as my partner and I are trying for our first child. The process has stirred up a lot of face-my-true-self sort of questions, which I expected but not to this degree. It's powerful and wild that the mere prospect of creating life can evoke deep introspection.

Very very well said and I wholeheartedly agree. Internal tools not only help cut costs and facilitate organizational effectiveness, they also can serve as a staging ground for platform features that revenue-driving products can consume.

This is a sensitive subject for sure but one that is worthwhile to have thoughtful public discourse around. Suicide is a tragic fact of life. The notion many hold that those who choose to take their own lives are somehow weak saddens me. People do it for myriad of reasons. Years ago I watched a documentary, Terry Pratchett: Choosing to Die. It tells the stories of a number of individuals with terminal illnesses who are contemplating physician-assisted suicide. This intimate portrait really opened my mind and heart to facing such a decision. It gave me an understanding for these peoples' experiences and perspectives, as well as a respect for their courage and compassion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Pratchett:_Choosing_to_Die https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dignitas_(non-profit_organisation)

“Only that which can change can continue”…a quote from James P. Carse in Finite & Infinite Games. Coordination is an infinite game filled with enumerable finite games. This is the kind of language and dynamics the likes of Gandhi and Obama were well-versed in

Pretty cool to me that week-over-week 10%+ of power badge users are engaging with /music. It's also notable that 41 have casted 7+ times in the past week...so ~1% of power badge users are engaging with the channel daily (on average)
