The contract here is a sublinear staking contract: if you are in the whitelist (specified as an ERC1155 collection), then you can stake N coins, and get a return of N ** 0.75 coins per slot, for as long as the contract has coins to pay for it. There is a fundedUntil mechanism that ensures that if the contract runs out of money, every staker gets rewarded for every slot up to the fundedUntil timestamp, and the mechanism doesn't turn into a fractional reserve. https://github.com/ethereum/research/blob/master/sublinear_staking/code.vy Bounty of total 2 ETH for identifying any bugs / vulnerabilities in the contract and proposing specific fixes, if multiple issues are found the bounty will be split based on severity. 1. be in ventilated spaces or outside when possible, CO2 meter helps measure 2. mask in some high risk settings (eg. airplane) 3. nose spray (betadine, enovid) 4. nose rinse (literally squirt salt water up your nose) in some high risk settings (eg. confs) 5. UV lamp I've recently upped my paranoia level, let's see if I can go a full year without getting anything!

In apps, 80%+ of the difficulty is in figuring out which apps actually make sense to build. I think this is why a generalized pitch of "we need apps" gets applause from pragmatist types but ultimately leads to no action - if our vision for the world is "WE WANT STUFF HAPPENING ON OUR CHAIN!", that's very uninspiring. Meanwhile, specific categories of apps are starting to do well! Lots of progress in zk identity and zk social, all kinds of interesting stuff in info finance. I think if we want more apps, a more definite-optimist approach where we talk about specific types of apps and what kind of world they will lead to will be much more effective.
