Simple but effective test to make a more controllable random smooth motion than with noise. A particle chases a target that changes position every delta time. The particle and target are connected with a spring. Behavior can be tweaked by delta time, spring constant and damping.

A more refined version with just particles and color based on velocity. I love the little subtle vortices that emerge from the swirls. Maybe I should call this "From vertices to vortices". 😜
