Not really advocating for Session btw, but we have XMTP and @comm.eth as possible alternatives. The key point is I think we have completely failed as an industry in terms of messaging privacy when we had a number of technical advantages and even multi-billion dollar investments. The fact that we still today use Telegram after the CEO was arrested by French authorities and compelled to open the system for government agencies is beyond me.
