Anyone regularly minting non-Ethereum NFTs? 

If so, what chain?

been trying out some emerging L2s and minting NFTs on them. 

Lately it's been ZkSync and Starknet

Mostly to try out the tech and each L2's UX. My favorite experience so far has been using Account Abstraction enabled wallets like Braavos and ArgentX.

They seriously improve the UX over first generation ones like Metamask, especially when using DeFi.

Why on emerging, and why on L2? I’m curious.

In terms of UX, starknet is quite slow, a transaction can take several minutes to "complete" on mainnet. zkSync is as fast as Arbitrum.

Follow for this excellent approach. 

Did a bunch last year. Starknet wasn’t an option at the time (to a non-coder). Where can it be done now? How have you found they all compare?

Several of the trending collections here are still minting. Don't have any specific recommendations but I like the art of Galaxians on Starknet, but those are fully sold out.
