A Deal Forged in Darkness
Tiberius Drath, a desperate sorcerer, sought the power to control the seas to save his drought-ravaged land. The forbidden trench called to him, a place where only fools dared tread. He arrived armed with relics and forbidden incantations, chanting to summon the warden of the abyss.
Kaelthar emerged, a glowing titan of malice and ancient wrath. Tiberius offered his soul for control over water, but Kaelthar’s deals were never without cruel twists. The sorcerer was granted the power he craved but was cursed to become a creature of the depths, a mindless servant bound to the abyss.
As Tiberius’s screams faded, Kaelthar watched with satisfaction. The price of ambition, he thought, is always higher than the desperate can pay.
